Placerias was a ox sized dicynodont that lived during the late triassic period in which is now North America.

Placerias weighed 1 ton and was hunted by animals like postosuchus. It was terribly slow and relied on its numbers for most self defence. It had tusks and a powerful beak although tough, they were actually peacefull herbivores.
